so, i got the graduate assistantship position with the honors program!
i am so incredibly excited. it is perfect. i'm going to be helping them implement a new service learning program and make their undergraduate research program more effective. he even mentioned that he wants me to stay on the whole time i'm at school!

it's not dealing with any research, but i think the programmatic experience will be really helpful if i decide not to continue on to get my phd.

i also met with one of the sociology professors- we talked about the research that is going on in the program, and there are definitely some extra projects that i could work on.

things are falling into place

and then i come back to an email from timmy on dates that him and amanda are going to be in jacksonville!!! i'd say it's a good day.
